RJ Barrett and Ignas Brazdeikis join the Knicks family

The New York Knicks selected Duke’s RJ Barrett with the 3rd overall pick and Michigan’s Ignas Brazdeikis at #47 in the 2019 NBA Draft on Thursday, June 20.

Barrett, who led the ACC in scoring and was named USA Today’s National Player of the Year and All-America First Team honors, and Brazdeikis, the hard-nosed, sharp-shooting Big Ten Freshman of the Year, are expected to join the young Knicks roster at the 2019 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in July.

The two Canadians were introduced to the media and fans at a press conference on Friday, June 21 followed by a tour of Madison Square Garden and New York City.
